We are a waterjet cutting service located in the seacoast of New Hampshire, and specialize in a new type of pure waterjet cutting called “Water Droplet Machining” (WDM). This technique uses a high-speed stream of pure water droplets to cut and machine materials within a vacuum environment. The high erosive capacity of droplet impact is harnessed in WDM to cut a variety of different materials, including steel, titanium, aluminum, ceramic, circuit board, composite and more. Composites, such as carbon fiber, can be cut and drilled without causing delamination, resulting in clean and accurate edges. The absence of abrasives in WDM, and its cold operating temperature, makes it ideal for cutting temperature-sensitive and contamination-intolerant materials. Another advantage of the water-only nature of the cutting medium is its low environmental footprint and the ability to recycle process water. This makes WDM exemplary for use in remote areas, such as in-space manufacturing.

Our WDM process can create small kerfs, with widths of 0.010”, which is advantageous for creating precise and intricate parts. Additionally, WDM can be used for milling, surface profiling, and paint/coating removal.
